We have completely reimagined the sCloud Dashboard from the ground up to provide a faster, more intuitive, and visually stunning experience. This massive update touches over 290 files with 17,000+ lines of new code!

The core of your CDN management has been rebuilt entirely:
  • Modular Architecture: A completely separate and optimized layout for browsing your buckets.
  • Smart Navigation: New Breadcrumbs, Sidebar navigation, and persistent SearchBar.
  • Enhanced Grid/Table Views: Toggle between detailed Object Tables and highly visual Object Grids, completely refined for performance.

🔐 Security, Auth & Organizations

  • Organization System Rework: A complete overhaul of the organization system ensuring strict roles and permissions enforcement across the board.
  • Frictionless Login: We’ve removed email verification via OTP, now relying on secure magic links by default. The “forgot password” flow is also fully operational.
  • Modern Access: We’ve introduced compatibility with Passkeys for cutting-edge security and added a neat “Last Used Method” tag to keep track of your logins.
  • Bot Protection: Full integration with Cloudflare Turnstile to keep the bots out without the hassle of traditional CAPTCHAs.

Every system email sent by sCloud has been redesigned for clarity and brand consistency:
  • Brand new templates for Organization Invites, OTP Verification, and Welcome sequences.
  • Complete overhaul of Subscription lifecycle emails (Created, Updated, Past Due, Canceled, Revoked).
  • Improved Contact Confirmation and Password Reset flows.

💨 sCloud CDN API Overhaul!

Our biggest update yet is now in production. We’ve completely rebuilt the CDN engine from the ground up, moving from Node.js to Bun + ElysiaJS to deliver a “Speed of Light” experience.

🚀 Performance Breakthroughs

  • 12.5x Faster Latency: Origin latency dropped from ~500ms to ~40ms.
  • 90% Leaner Codebase: Stripped 29,000 lines of legacy overhead for a focused ~3,000 line core.
  • Instant Startup: Native Bun execution means zero compilation lag.
  • High-Burst Stability: Optimized to handle 1000+ concurrent files without breaking a sweat.

🛠️ Architectural Evolution

  • Thundering Herd Protection: Implemented Promise Deduplication. 100 concurrent requests for the same file now result in a single DB/R2 query.
  • Safe Buffering: Assets < 2MB are now buffered immediately for near-instant UI delivery.
  • Atomic Rate Limiting: New high-performance Redis Lua scripts ensure non-blocking security.
  • Native S3 & Meilisearch: Deep integration for fuzzy search and raw object listing.
